Answer: They need to learn to work with kids and have the patience to teach something over and over again. And not be mean or frustrated. The fact that every kid is different and learns a different way so their is a lot for them to do in some many years.

Where I'd Like to Teach....Dream!!
I think that I would like to teach in 2nd grade, in a rural area just like my hometown of Nuangola, Pa. I believe that i would like to have about 28-30 students from all different races, backgrounds and even home situations. I believe that I will help my students to become better learners and listeners. I want to not only be there teacher but also like a friends, so they can come talk to me at anytime about whatever they will need to talk about. I believe i will later in life go to be a principle. So i would like to teach somewhere down South where it is warm all the time. But if a job came up here in Pennsylvania then i would stay here. It just depends on where and when all of my schooling is all finish. I hope to be teaching by 2012.

The two advances of development are microcomputers and also the increase of use from laptop. Which helps to increase in the use of World Wide Web, networking or even bloggers and chat room and other things. Due to these advances I believe that this have broad in are technology with is making information more widely found. Which let's everything in the world speed up
Question 2: Discuss one emerging trend in technology and the effect it could have on classrooms and schools.
Due to the emerging trend in technology there is so much happening everyday. The biggest one I believe is the use of portable devices. First off it let's you be able to just log on anywhere you are, you don't have to sit at a desk or etc. You can take it anywhere you go, while the desktop you just leave there. I believe these technologies make classrooms and schools more flexible and can fit into anyone life, while desktop you need a whole room for them. When portable computers you can bring them in whenever you need them. I think it gives the young kids more to do with there lives then just hanging out and getting into trouble, this is a good learning experience. It also helps people who have learning disabilities do everything someone without disabilities can do. It is a main thing that all students should know because this developing idea is so important to are growing generation.

Autobiography
About Me!!!!
My name is Katelyn Elizabeth Marie Gibbon
I am 19 years old about to be 20 years old on February 23
I am a Sophomore here at Lock Haven University
My major here is Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education.
When I’m not here at Lock Haven, my first home is in a small town of Nuangola, Pa. It is about 1 ½ hours from Lock Haven, 20 minutes from Wilkes-Barre, Pa and about 35 minutes from Scranton, Pa.
I live with my mom, dad and my little brother, who is fifteen.
I have the most wonderful boyfriend ever, his name is Marcus. We have been together for 28 months. That’s a really long time.
At my home I have a cockatiel named Pearl and some fish. But at my boyfriend’s house I have a pit-bull named Jasmine, we have Chi-Wawa named Prince-which we call ChiChi, we have a lahasaboo named Coco. We also have 3 snakes, a savannah monitor, 4 leopard geckos, a bearded dragon, a ferret, and some mice that we bred.
I love the color pink. But my next favorite color would either be purple or lime green.
I am very much a girly girl
I love to shop! What girl won’t
I love to be at the beach, when I graduate I plan to move somewhere in the south, where it is warm all the time.
When I’m not at class or out you will find me at home. I love being there
I love to play video games-it could be on the computer or even Nintendo or PlayStation, Wi, XBOX360.

I love to watch lifetime, tru tv and TLC.
My favorite food is pizza and my favorite snack would either be ice cream, chocolate or GOLDFISH.
My Experiences with Technology
My experiences with technology are that I don’t really know the latest technology. I just know how to log onto the computer, check my e-mail, and face book and MySpace account. I really don’t know how to do anything more. I hope by taking this class that I will learn more about technology and am able to teach my future students how to do the same things that I am learning now. I believe this is a good course to take because it shows you how much technology has grown in so many years. And plus it is still growing while I type this out. So I think it is a must in my field to be able to do all of the latest technology without any problems. I mean not everyone is perfect but we should still be able to be almost perfect, and be able to master this topic.
My Expectations or Wishes for this Course
My expectations for this class are to get better at all of the new technology in the world. To become a better teacher, so my students will have a better learning environment. I think this is a very important task to have to teach your students. You need to be able to due all the technology so that they can excel in the world, just like you have. I want to be able to make WebPages so I can put my student’s homework on it. Put there tests on it, so they know what they go. And also use other technology so I can tell my students about them.

My favorite food is pizza and my favorite snack would either be ice cream, chocolate or GOLDFISH.
My Experiences with Technology
My experiences with technology are that I don’t really know the latest technology. I just know how to log onto the computer, check my e-mail, and face book and MySpace account. I really don’t know how to do anything more. I hope by taking this class that I will learn more about technology and am able to teach my future students how to do the same things that I am learning now. I believe this is a good course to take because it shows you how much technology has grown in so many years. And plus it is still growing while I type this out. So I think it is a must in my field to be able to do all of the latest technology without any problems. I mean not everyone is perfect but we should still be able to be almost perfect, and be able to master this topic.
My Expectations or Wishes for this Course
My expectations for this class are to get better at all of the new technology in the world. To become a better teacher, so my students will have a better learning environment. I think this is a very important task to have to teach your students. You need to be able to due all the technology so that they can excel in the world, just like you have. I want to be able to make WebPages so I can put my student’s homework on it. Put there tests on it, so they know what they go. And also use other technology so I can tell my students about them.

Hello, And good afternoon. My name is Katelyn Gibbon. I am an elementary education major with a minor in special education. I love school, and i love little kids. So that is why i am in the major i am in, i want to make a difference in the world and in the school district. I am from a small town of Naungola, Pa. Which is about 1,1/2 to 2 hours from LHU and about 20 minutes from Wilkes-barre,Pa and about 30 Minutes from Scranton. i know nothing about technology i am horrible at it and hope that Dr. Hossain will teach me what i need to be taught to be a teacher. I have to use a friend's computer to do this because my internet won't hook up to my computer.
