Instructional software tool

Discuss instructional software tools in technology intergration strategies that are based on constructivist models you have learned in chapter 3 to include one or two examples of them, their features, and functions.

Examples of them:
Save math apples- a computer game that helps a monkey save apples. You have to click the answers on the basket and you keep hitting the baskets to add the apples to your answer.

Jungle Jim and the Donga Dinga Drums- a computer game that helps encourages kids to play with numbers and multiply concepts and win points as long as they hit the right number.

Their features:
Teaches cooperative skills
Make learning fun and motivation (Ediutainment)
Motivate learners via the challenge of competition
Engage the learners in a situation where learner compete for high scores
Include element adventure and uncertainly
Provide different levels of complexity that match player’s abilities

Functions:
Uses group cooperation
Allow for Multiple intelligences
Motivating learning by adding game rules to learning acitivities
